Solo traveler’s delight

The staff were exceptionally welcoming, like when the Greek waiter went the extra mile to get us a table and had the perfect recommendations for our meal. And the seafood was simply the best I've had in ages, fresh and expertly prepared, made my evening unforgettable.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but considering the quality, it felt acceptable for what we got.

we had such a lovely stay at the bridgend hotel! the staff were super friendly n made us feel right at home. our family room was beautifull n comfy with great decor. the full scottish breakfast was the best part of our mornin, so delish! plus, the location is perfect for explore the island.

the only downside was the dinner service was kinda slow n we had to wait longer then expected for our food.

During my stay at Bridgend Hotel, I adored the warm, inviting decor that made me feel right at home. The spacious lounge area was easily accessible, allowing me to relax comfortably while enjoying lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

The stay was quite enjoyable, particularly due to the family room, which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Scottish breakfast in the mornings was definitely a highlight, providing a great start to each day of exploring the island. While everything was generally good, some signs for navigation around the property could improve the experience.

It was a solid choice for a quick visit in Bridgend with good value for money. The staff even included a handwritten anniversary card, which was a nice touch. Try the dining options as they have lots of great ones.

The Small Double Room was lovely and super comfy! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The decor had that nice traditional vibe. Only downside was the plumbing—a bit old-school, so the toilet flush was tricky. a cozy experience!

I had a fantastic stay! The food was simply magnificent, especially the dinners, and I couldn't believe the quality of the shower – it was so refreshing after a day out. Totally would love to come back again!

great stay but limited room size

The staff provided exceptional assistance throughout my stay which made my experience much more enjoyable. I also appreciated the easy access to public transport right in front of the hotel.

Excellent water pressure in showers, giving you a hot bath without delay. Spacious rooms with a huge bed made for a comfy stay, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the area.

Heating needs improvement. afternoons can be quite chilly, requiring multiple requests for adjustments. Limited dinner menu options led to issues with food availability and improper orders, and breakfast seemed rushed with some items needing refills despite service running. The bar menu lacks variety, especially for specific dietary needs, creating unnecessary complications.

Our small double room was cozy, equipped with everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed some quiet moments in the lovely garden and even had a drink by the patio. Only minor hiccup was the breakfast. I found the sausages a bit off, but overall, the stay was fantastic! 😊

The location was fantastic for exploring distilleries and beaches. however, the bathroom felt a bit cramped, and noise from the bar area could be disruptive at times. Despite these minor issues, my experience was overall very enjoyable and I would definitely return.
